Hi! My name is Kurt, and I am excited to launch my fundraising project to support the IMBiosciences Research Institute (IMBRI).
The core objectives of this inspiring organization are three-fold: to alleviate the burden of cancer through innovative scientific research; to promote cancer awareness through early detection and prevention and to advance science education in historically marginalized communities.
I will be taking on a 960km cycling challenge from Gqeberha to Cape Town, starting 24th October 2025 – in honor of family and friends that have been, or are currently affected by cancer. Your support will go a long way in making a significant difference and bringing hope to countless individuals. Every contribution would go towards supporting IMBRI’s research and social outreach projects. Thank you for your generosity!

Gerrard’s story
Hi! My name is Gerrard, and I will be embarking on a 960km cycling challenge from Gqeberha to Cape Town over 9 days to support the IMBiosciences Research Institute (IMBRI).
This incredible organization is committed to cancer research, providing a scientific research platform for science graduates and promoting STEM education in underprivileged schools. I invite you to join me in helping IMBRI to raise funds to support their initiatives. Your support will not only fund invaluable cancer research but also help uplift science education in communities in need.
I believe that cancer research is important, and that there is great potential in discovering more effective cancer treatments. My goal can only be reached with YOUR help! Together we can make a difference and impact lives positively, help us light the way with hope!
